ResilientUK CIC THINK • QUESTION • CHALLENGE • UNDERSTAND • DECIDE • RESPOND AQA Unit Award Scheme programmes in resilience, critical thinking & safer decision-making

What is ResilientUK CIC?

ResilientUK CIC is a not-for-profit organisation working with young people, schools, colleges, families and communities to build resilience and safer decision-making.

We focus on the challenges young people increasingly face both online and in the real world — from misinformation and manipulation to peer pressure, exploitation and harmful online influences.

Our approach is practical, engaging and designed around the situations young people may encounter in everyday life.

The problem you're addressing.

Young people are navigating a world where information, influence and social interaction are increasingly shaped by technology.

They may encounter disinformation, manipulation, online pressure, grooming, exploitation, harmful content and persuasive social media environments alongside the ordinary challenges of growing up.

Simply telling young people what not to do isn't enough.

They need the skills to recognise situations, question information, understand consequences, and make their own decisions.

ResilientUK uses stories, characters and realistic scenarios to explore difficult subjects in ways that young people can recognise and discuss.

South Manor College is our fictional learning environment — a world populated by characters facing situations that reflect challenges young people may encounter in real life.

But the learning doesn't stay in the story.

ResilientUK takes those ideas into the real world with assessed AQA Unit Award courses in schools and colleges, and workshop programmes for parents and the commuity.
